Credit Report Policy

Effective Date:  03-March-2022

Please review the following rules that govern our Credit Reporting Policy, as well as the Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) and Privacy Policy regarding the information that you provide to us. These terms and policies apply to the website owned, operated, licensed, and controlled by Splitero, Inc., including its related, affiliated, or subsidiary companies (together, “Splitero”) located at www.splitero.com (the “Website”).

This Website is the property of Splitero By using this Website and authorizing a credit inquiry, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of our Credit Reporting Policy, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please immediately discontinue use of this Website.

Use of Credit Profile

The services and products offered by Splitero are regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”). Splitero has established procedures for obtaining proper authorization to request and receive information from a consumer reporting agency. By providing your personally identifiable information and submitting a request for pre-qualification or an application on the Website, you certify that you have initiated a transaction with us, and that the services being requested may be used to confirm your identity to avoid fraudulent transactions in your name.

Pre-Qualification Inquiry

During the pre-qualification stage, we may conduct an eligibility inquiry which is also known as a “soft credit pull”. This soft credit pull does not affect your credit score. You understand and acknowledge that, by submitting a request for pre-qualification with Splitero, you are providing us with written instructions under the FCRA, which authorizes us to obtain information from your personal credit profile and/or other information from consumer reporting agencies. Upon your request, we will inform you of the name and address of any consumer reporting agency from which we obtained your consumer report.

Application Submission

When you submit an application for Splitero products and services, we may conduct a credit inquiry which is also known as a “hard credit pull” or “hard credit inquiry”. Unlike the soft credit pull inquiry, this inquiry will be recorded on your credit history and may impact your credit score. You understand and acknowledge that by providing your Social Security Number and submitting you application, you are providing us with written instructions under the FCRA, which authorizes us to obtain information from your personal credit profile and/or other information from the three U.S. national credit reporting agencies (i.e., Experian, Equifax and Transunion). Upon your request, we will inform you of the name and address of any consumer reporting agency from which we obtained your consumer report.

Your Right To Receive Free Credit Reports

Pursuant to the FCRA, you have the right to receive one free credit report from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion during any 12-month period. You may also be able to receive free credit reports as permitted by state law (you may contact your state or local consumer protection agency or state attorney general to learn more about your rights). Please visit each company’s website to obtain a free credit report from Experian, Equifax or TransUnion.

Modification Of Credit Report Policy

Splitero reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of our Credit Reporting Policy, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these policies and terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. As long as you comply with these terms and policies, Splitero grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Website.
